Custom builds vs. soul

At World of Wheels, some engine swaps: a Ford V8 in a Miata and a Viper engine in a RX7.
Great work, but doesn't this take away the very thing that makes those cars special?

Rx7 I tend to agree, but the miata 4 banger is nothing special.

One of the things that make RX7s special is their willingness to blow up. They can be fragile. And expensive to repair. I'd not be surprised if that car was bought with a blown engine.

So I'm OK with that swap.

If the car was bone stock..I'd be inclined to keep it stock though for resale purposes.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...
