Well, we had another beer tasting get-together, this time at wing's house. We all got to sample his racing sim setup complete with VR headset. Very impressive and a bit disorienting at first, but eventually we settled right in. Besides, when else do you get to have a beer and then jump into a race car? ;-)
Tortoise sent us a curated collection of beers complete with tasting notes, even though he couldn't make the get-together himself. Much appreciated and thanks again! Now on to the beer.... I found that I wasn't as adventurous as I thought I was and some of the tastes were strange. The others (Scaerio, Pi314, and the bespoke wing) will want to chime in. That said, the variety was awesome and even though each of us only consumed in total one glass of beer, the tastes couldn't have been any more distinct. I've attached a couple of pictures: Pi314 driving the simulator, wing holding up a can of something or other, and Scaerio emphatically saying "no" to the Froot Loop beer. Yes, there is such a thing and to put the record straight, I actually kind of liked it.
