yah,  I like calling them the CAW still. They can pretend to morph into something else but they are still the CAW.  They can't fool me.  ;)  I still can't get used to the ACC as the home of the Leafs... it's still the Gardens in my mind.  The ACC is temporary.

Thinking the ACC is the Gardens  :o, , just think how fack you will once the naming right change on the ACC in a couple of years
We should just call it the post office   ;D

I have a hard time calling  the Skydome the Rogers centre

The numbers for Australia in that video are sad, emissions there are predominantly on electricity production due to the use of coal.

In Canada, outside of Alberta, the emissions story is very different, transportation is the majority of emissions.

Ontario : the average emissions for the overnight electricity that goes into my EV's is 10g/kWh
Ohio average is 50x greater for their electricity production to power EV's, so yes, where you live matters

Even with 50x emissions, EV in US is better than regular gas car of same size/capability, and then is much much much better in places like Quebec and Ontario (and Manitoba, and BC) where electricity is very low in CO2.

There are over 2,000 pre-orders for the Tesla Semi and that number just grew by about 80 trucks. Walmart Canada announced this week it has tripled its order to a total of 130 of the all-electric cargo haulers as part of its commitment to convert 20% of its fleet to electric trucks by the end or 2022 and to 100% by 2028

^ will be a wait though, the Semi is destined to use the new Tesla cells as per battery day (see picture in article):

OK.  The first 4 are either in extremely short supply, expensive or  very small.
The Leaf and Bolt, is the Bolt still in production ?   I thought the leaf was about to be replaced.

So that leaves Tesla.    The model 3 and the model Y at the top I am not surprised...were I to give in and buy an Electric car the Tesla Y would be it.      No Jaguars? or are they not actually available?   No Kia Souls  I see a couple of those around here so they are being sold.
