I'm putting 17" wheels on the Corolla, so I need new tires.  I have winter tires, so snow traction isn't a factor in this new purchase.

Car: 2013 Toyota Corolla LE
Tire Size: 215/45R17

Most of the tires in this size are W and V-speed rated, which the Corolla doesn't need, but I may not have a choice.

I've had good luck with Pirelli Cinturato on other vehicles, so they are an option.

Any suggestions from the best and brightest?

Replaced the summer tires on the RX with Cross Climate 2's last year. Happy with them so far, quiet and drive well. Their crap weather capability was nice yesterday when nasty weather came up after changing the winters

I'm sure most mainstream manufacturers have great tires. But, I've been really impressed with the Pirelli P7 A/S Plus on the Golf.  Quiet, smooth, good handling, seem to wear well.  They always seem to be decently priced at Quattro and other online retailers too.

What wheel are you using ? oem or aftermarket. Something lighter for drag racing.

10% off right now on blackcircles. Taxes shown are for ON:

Another one I would consider is General RT45. It's a new model but if it's as good as the old RT43 (#2 spot in CR ratings) then perhaps it should be on your list too.

 I agree. I have bought 3 sets of Pirelli Cinturato P7's over the years and have been happy with them. Mazda 3, Kia Forte and BMW 328. Quiet smooth performers.

Another recommendation for Pirelli P7 A/S.

I installed a set 18 months ago largely on the positive comments by rrocket. They are quiet, and much smoother riding than the OEM Bridgestone Potenzas they replaced. The Pirelli's track well with much less tramlining than the original tires. I also find wet performance is great, with no aquaplaning on my hwy 401 runs to Toronto and back.

My only recent Pirellis are the snows on the Accent Superleggera and I like them.

On my 2008 Sentra I swapped the oem Bridgestones with a set of Yokohama Avid somethings and I loved them - smooth, square shoulders that made'em look wider and quiet.

I had the Pirelli P7 A/S on my Mazda 3 for almost 4 years until I got a nail in the sidewall. I liked them.
I replaced them with Nokian One.
Have a look at Nokian One. I liked them better as their wet and dry traction was a bit better and were cheaper too.

These are the Yokohama Avid Ascend I bought ever so slightly used back in 2014. I think I paid like $225 for the set!

Before and After.

Too early to give a review on the tires but, I think the Corolla now looks like a 7/8th scale first-gen IS sedan.
Correction: the 2013 Corolla is longer than the first-gen IS.

I definitely will go ahead with installing the TRD lowering springs.

I'm confused ( doesn't take much  ;D) did the car originally come with 2 sets of rims? Did you run winter tires ? I assume yes ,Manitoba.

I hope you won't regret a rougher ride with the TRD springs.
