2025 Nissan Kicks
« on: March 23, 2024, 02:40:54 pm »
Nissan has unveiled the 2025 version of its Kicks compact SUV, showcasing significant design changes. These include a revamped front fascia with sleeker headlights and a revised grille. Inside, the interior has been updated with new technology, highlighted by a larger infotainment screen. Notably, the engine has been upgraded to a 2-liter variant sourced from the Sentra, a notable increase from the previous 1.6-liter engine and it's bigger all round.  I can't say if I'm a fan of this new styling.

When your displacement starts with a 1 does it really matter?  ;D I guess more so.

My mistake, The last one has had Nissan's HR16DE, which is from the Nissan Versa. Thanks.  :)

I think from a looks perspective the current Kicks is one of the nicest little CUV's on the road. If I was looking for a little city runabout I would consider it if it were not for the worrisome reliability scores of many Nissan and Infinity products.

Front of this new one looks like a Hyundai Tucson with light set up. Back end looks a little odd in pictures. I am guessing it will continue to be front wheel drive only.

Now that it's bigger and AWD, imagine it will replace the Rogue Sport/Qashqai

That is why they got the nickname "shitssan." I can remember before it was sold off, Nissan made very reliable cars, as good as Toyota. Now I wouldn't touch one with a 10-foot barge-pole despite how nice they look.

My wife had a late 90's and then an early 2000's Maxima while I had a 2003 Pathfinder. All nice cars that were reliable and that we were very happy with. My daughter had two Rogues that were "OK" but fairly "meh" (bought because they were plentiful and relatively cheap in the used auctions)
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.
