A few pics from our drive
up country today around the area where we used to have our cottage. Met up with a few neighbors and ended up going for a boat ride and I drank too much, so my wife had to drive the S2000 back home. That was the adventure of the day as she's only had a few brief lessons from me on how to drive manual tranny. Baptism by fire indeed!
We came across this on the side of the road in the middle of no-mans land.
What year is the Duster Wink? A gorgeous 66 T-Bird in baby blue with white top drove by just after I took this shot, but I couldn't get a decent pic.
Rat bike?
The owner of this was my neighbor at the cottage. It's reputed to be the fastest boat in the Saint John River, and when it's not he will get a faster one. He got it the year we moved away and I forgot to ask him what is putting out for hp, but he said it will easily do 115mph. He owned crazy power boats the entire 22 years we lived there, but this was definitely the craziest. He owns a machine/engine rebuild shop nearby and tears the engines down every winter and rebuilds them again. Quite a hobby. Funnily enough they were our quietest neighbors and we rarely heard from them other than when this thing exploded to life.
Very nice people though and it was good to talk with them again after 3 years.
