Without a doubt, the most boring car design ever!  For gosh sakes, even Kia and Hyundi have better design.

I think it's the best looking Accord thus far, I'm just dismayed they pulled the double wishbone suspension and I would have like to see DI on all engines, being that it's a Honda or should I say once that would have been Honda like. :P

:iagree:  And the fact there isn't even 60/40 split.  And how can AJAC not even nominate the ATS for Car of the Year, when it has wons awards from many other magazines, shows, the North American Autoshow, etc...

Without a doubt, the most boring car design ever!  For gosh sakes, even Kia and Hyundi have better design.

Boring in what way? Kia and Hyundai have better designs in what areas?

Because they are "sporty"?  :D     Fact is they lack interior space and their gas mileage is in the basement.  Current sales confirm.

The ATS won the American award just as the circa 2007 Malibu won, not because it was clearly the best, rather it was an above average product for a GM.   Autoline Detroit agreed.  Their picks were Accord, Fusion and then ATS that will have mininal sales after GM stops giving them away.

They wouldn't be eligible because they are not all new models for 2013.

I expect the Mazda 6 to be a contender for the 2014 award.

Agreed on the double wishbone setup.  In regards to DI on all engines, the Honda V6 is a fairly old design.  I can't see Honda investing that much into adding DI to it.  Rather, I would expect that they will be replacing it with an all new V6 that would feature DI and hopefully a timing chain.
