Possible. Finding out they do a lot of odd things.

Apparently levers from Scout do not fit Octane despite looking identical, the bushing bore sizes are different. Looking for black levers, nobody makes aftermarket levers for the bike.

Maybe I'll remove and get them powder coated.

You could also get them black oxided if they are ferrous. Won't change any dimensions as opposed to powder coat.

Lol so I got my bags today. The only complaint everyone had in the reviews was that it didn't come with the right bolts.

So I open the box and there is two big bags of bolts and nuts so I'm thinking what are these idiots online complaining about.

Then I check out the brackets and figure out how it mounts and now I get it. And I don't get why they would send 4 inch long bolts when you only need a half inch bolt max.... Little bolt in my pic I had and its still too long.

no wonder they went out of business. ;)

all joking aside, i wonder if it has to do with who made the bags?...for example, even if they are "Victory" bags, they are likely made by another company...maybe they didn't have the details of what bolt size is needed to mount them, so they just included the ones you got...it's possible one company makes the bags, and one company makes the brackets, so there might be a disconnect there (obviously)...in any case though, that falls on Victory.

No No, they aren't victory bags. They are viking bags. Viking makes the brackets and bolts. The thing is the bolt simple goes through the back and the bracket, all of 1/4 inch think. They know this, no need for 4 inch bolts at all. Apparently they been doing this for years like this....

It's fast (ish). Torquey which is so awesome.

Pretty nimble actually, a little harder to do u-turns I find but I'll probably get use to it.
Clutch is a hand killer. I'm going to have a massive left hand by end of the summer.

Didn't take me too long to get use to the riding position, although you certainly feel less in control at slower speeds I find due to your centre of gravity.

Suspension is nice, had it set to full hard, went around and it was FIRM, switch it to full soft and it was night and day difference, very comfortable. Should be useful with a passenger.

One bolt kit fits all, they are threaded all the way so made for cutting to length.

Those are, but the other ones aren't actually haha.

But yeah, thanks for the 6 inch bolts that I need 1/4 inch of. LOL

Almost done mounting, just waiting for paint to dry.... literally

Took awhile but I got my saddle bags mounted. I was being very picky. Think they look good and now I can store my wallet.

I likey.

I can see why you want to black out the levers. I wonder if making them body colour might look better?

Bike is awesome. No more blowing around in the wind. Less wind noise, nice rumble and fast.

No vibrations either, Honda feels like it is going to explode so would go into 6th. Can cruise in 4th and hammer time.

So fast lol
