Mark Levinson in the RX Doesn’t sound any better than my Bose truck system

That's because the RX application is the base one. The LS and LC (and possibly the LX) get the full-jam ML system.

Don't know but it would be nice to have a saddle leather interior for a change

Realistically any running car would work, based on the used car prices :)

Luckily I already have the cars and motorcycles I want. Looking at newer vehicles doesn't usually do it for me.

Mind you, having a garage as big as Jay Leno's for the added room would be nice.
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!
A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

Been kinda sorta flirting with the idea of leasing a BRZ for two years. Can get one all in for under $600 a month thanks to strong residuals and a low interest rate. Seems cheap by today's standards. Meanwhile a base GTI is $200 more a month.

Go for it!  A 3.49% lease rate is crazy attractive these days.  Might even make a buck or two towards the end of the lease upon disposal despite the high residual.

Subaru is kind of interesting. I've been tossing around the idea of leasing a base WRX for 24 months ... $383 / month all in!

Though not sure about availability, but still. Very tempting.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Can't believe they got rid of World Rally Blue on the base.

That is pretty insane. Here I get a $34,500 all in price, with a residual of $28,600!

WRX base manual $404.20 for 24 months with no down. Put down $5000.00 and it's $172.00 a month  :D

That would be one fun winter beater

The base car is a bit too base for my liking but the price is certainly right.

Would be a great compliment car to your BMW wagon.  I don't think it's a bad idea, and after two years time you can decide if you want to buy it out or go on to something else.

The biggest issue is that my wife doesn't love it. And when she doesn't love a car she only wants us to get it if it's black. Ain't no way I'm getting a black Subaru when World Rally Blue is an option.  ;D

Much better off just leasing a WRX.  :P

Yup!

Base WRX at $362/month all in for a two year lease in AB, (at that 16,000km/yr) is the cheapest Subaru by a long shot
Base Crosstrek $434
Base Impreza $463
Impreza RS $521
Onyx Crosstrek $525

Would have been really tempted if this would have been the deal last fall
