Last fall I saw a yellow Gallardo that somehow ended up on the other side of a ditch just outside of Magna's headquarters on Aurora road. The cops on the scene seemed to find it funny and as far as I could tell the Lambo wasn't damaged, very strange, because anything but a Hummer would have fallen into a ditch that wide.

Blade,
Was the Lambo on the south EAST corner? If so maybe it was driven across Stronach's new golf course! and not thru the ditch.

A couple of times last summer, I spotted a T-Rex on the road between Almonte and Ottawa. Tiny, weird-looking three-wheeler that supposedly dishes out Formula car performance. Kind of like a Lotus 7, but not so big and luxurious.

An early Volvo on Parliament street, the one with the sort of hatchback look..straight line from roof to bumper with a small rear window. looked in goo condition.  being behind a car that age makes one remember what cars smelt like before unleaded and cat converters.

And a Toyota corolla on the dvp going faster than 80kph

I saw a bull moose this morning on the way into work. I am driving to my new project site which is an operation on care and maintenance until the new owners take command. The drive is relaxing as there are only 10 of us here….kind or eerie. I came around a corner and there he was. It was not a panic stop but the road was icy and the ABS engaged. He stood there like nothing was happening then wondered off onto the lake.

I saw a lady driving a "76 Civic" (on the license plate) on my daily commute to Toronto a few times last year. The car was in great condition for that age. It's amazing how much smaller it is compared to todays Civics. Cute looking car, she probably hugs it every so often, to keep it going.

That new Bentley coupe is the hot car in Vancouver right now - over the last few days I've suddenly seen 3 different ones tooling around ...

A 1976 Honda is indeed a rare car, they were new as they were total rust buckets that usually didn't last the 1st year. I have a new Rolls Royce go by my house twice a day for the last few years. Its some poor guy going to work and back in comfort and style. Beauty Brown colour with Silver accents. Very attractive car.

Saw a black Mecury Maurader with a "For Sale" sign in the window today. Also saw two Benz CLK 500's. Those are very attractive cars.

Silver, black, and a sort of orange/gold/copper metallic.  Saint, guess we're seeing some of the same cars.

Yesterday I saw a Ridgeline road show, a whole fleet of the new Honda pickups, presumably brought in for the benefit of the local Honda dealers and salesmen. They had a pylon course set up in the Corel Centre parking lot and a few competitors' trucklets (Sport Trac, Dakota) for comparisons. Some people, expecially the Silverado-F150-Ram crowd in the States, are calling the new Honda ugly and ridiculous. Au contraire, say I. The sloping bed rail takes some getting used to, but it's a pretty handsome truck. Practical too.
