Kid went to Wpg with mom today (to pick up stuff) and got rear ended...in my truck.  Said the Kia looked like it was done, our bumper is pushed in about 1-2" in the middle.  If you didn't know it, you'd think it'd never have been hit.  Hope it doesn't come back to bite him...people are always nice after an accident...then they report it as being entirely your fault.  Time will tell.
Why wouldn't you call the cops, if only to prevent future funny business and protect yourself?

"My truck" I thought it was your wife's truck  ;D

The police were probably called if the Kia was history ,

That sucks!  It's never your fault when you're hit from behind.  Always the hitter's fault.

About the only time the Winnipeg Police Service show up for accidents is if traffic control is needed.

Saw body art on a girl.  Not just some ink and piercings no.  Embossed skin and some sort of balls inserted in the collar bones..

Fack. I understand some have need for being unique or whatever but fack..  Inserting foreing objects underneath the skins?

back about 1977, my brother was driving the family 73 Pontiac Catalina.  A guy in a civic rear ended him at about 45 km/hr, wrote off the civic, cleaned the dirt off the bumper of the Pontiac.

I'm not always here on the forum every day as some days I just don't have the time.  I had a fairly stressful and overwhelming day with brewery stuff so I wanted to shut off everything mentally tonight and just hang out here on the forum.  Sorry for your luck, guys.  lol    ;D

Yes oil came and got changed out today. Thanks!  S2000 needed a set of front tires to pass mvi. Not surprised as i replaced the rears late last year.

I'll post pics and details about the car when I get it, but I have a question about rust protection modules.  The car has never seen snow and it has one of those diamond kote rust protection modules installed.  The salesguy made a big deal about it and claimed it's been very effective in their experience.  It would be great if it does work as I don't like the mess of Krown/Rust Check.

The car is in new condition, but not sure how much is due to the module thing where it has never seen snow.  So what say you guys?  Do these things work, or shoul I known it?

Nooooooooooooooooooo!

just to emphasise the point, : https://ecclesautoservice.ca/do-electronic-rust-protectors-work/

basically, it doesn't work.    it's probably the car not seeing snow/inclement weather and good factory galvanizing  that's protecting the car.

Thanks, that was good info and I figured as much.  Krown it is then!

If the module comes with any sort of rust warranty there is no harm in keeping it.  Might be worth something someday.

MPI doesn't always see it that way I don't think.  If they can't tell who's at fault, yay! You both get 50% at fault so everyone gets hosed come renewal time.  Still haven't called it in to make a claim...should do that soon, we're losing our body shop shortly and I want genuine Ford parts, not some :censor: made in China by 5 yr olds - I know they have to eat, but not on my bumper.  Maybe it's time to do a Sport Pkg conversion, wife is sick of the chrome.  ;D

Unless you are backing up at the time how could you have any portion of the fault when you get rear ended?
