Air nailers are worth the hose hassle.

That's what I thought but it would be nice not to have to drag the whole compressor, hose, nailer menagerie through the house if it was a viable option

I have a 100 foot air hose on a reel in the garage.  And a spare 25 footer on the wall.  Can reach anywhere in the house.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

And get a nice rubber hose that doesn't get all twisted like the plastic ones.

I have to admit, Brad Nailer sounds like a good name for a porn star.
My diesel car self-identifies as an electric vehicle.

Ever play that game where you "find" your porn star name? You use your first dogs name and the street you grew up on. IQ's and I names both work out fabulously!

I'm Dax Broderick ! LOL

Paslode makes a "hoseless" framing nailer, but I'm not sure if it comes small enough for what you want.   It's butane powered,  batteries spark an  internal combustion piston to actuate the nailer, works great and no hoses.

Yep. I see lots of professionals using them. But they cost a few hundred dollars for the tool and then you'll need a new battery (100 bucks?) every now and then as well as the propane cartridges which I'm sure can't be cheap.
I figured since I've got a compressor already another 100-150 bucks spent on Brad Nailer   ;D  on a nailer can be easily justified.

Very happy with my Bostitch gun.

I will check with a hardware store's tool rental department and see which model they rent out. I recall it IS a Bostitch and if so, will be a safe bet.

Update. Just bought this one. $76+tax delivered, which is roughly half the retail price.
