I've found this out quite a few times unfortunately. The worst time was about 15 years ago when I had a cyst removed from my back. They kept giving me more and more and every time the surgeon cut, it hurt like hell. They finally switched to something else (not sure what they were using, or what they finally used) but it did a better job - still not completely numb, but better. I've only had dental work done twice in my life and the dentist remarked that it took an immense amount of freezing.
Did you mean to say that or was it a typo. I can certainly imagine being immune to aesthetics!a set of principles concerned with the nature and appreciation of beauty, especially in art.the branch of philosophy that deals with the principles of beauty and artistic taste.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I know a woman who had open stomach surgery...she was out...but she wasn't. Gave her something to paralyze her, but she was awake and in severe pain the entire time, and unable to move or signal anyone something was horribly wrong. Scary shi#.
I know better now, so when I got to dentist I specifically ask for a procedure called a nerve block.

Is it that unusual? I had a crown done last year (first one ever) and I remember the dentist saying he was going to do a nerve block. I didn't ask for anything special or make any kind of fuss over it, it just seemed routine.
