Well no car is perfect and the Mach-E is certainly no exception (stupid door handles  :banghead: :banghead:) . .

Are the door handles problematic for you or just not fond of the design?

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Just not fond of the design. Everytime someone who's never been in a Mach-E try to get in, they look at the door in puzzlement trying to figure out how to open the damn thing. On the positive side, the piston which push the door open is quite powerful, so with the car covered in icing rain, it would break trough that ice easily.

Reinventing the wheel just for the sake of it, eh?

Yup, I just don't understand with most EV's come with some kind of "better mousetrap" door handles. It's not like you're gonna get 50Km extra range from "aerodynamic" door handles!  :banghead:

Not sure hauling a light weight patio set is TRUCK STUFF, could do that in a Maverick, or a minivan. A truck at Lightning price point, people want to haul their Bass Boat 6 hours across the state at 80mph with a UTV in the bed. For every Lightning I see on the road, I see 5 Raptors, because that's an awesome truck that does proper truck stuff. Lightning is a Tesla with a bed....And there's a market for that, but it's not the people who use their truck like a truck, it's the people who commute in a half ton everyday because they like the way it makes them feel. Unfortunately for Ford, that market isn't spendy enough to support a truck like this.

Our gasser Yukon is 6,540 lb. The stock pads were a joke, but otherwise brakes are fine.  :)

I agree and I think Ford missed the mark with this truck. Should have been a PHEV. 75-100 km of all electric range for the daily grind and commuting. Gas engine for the longer trips and towing.

Yeah, I think that would have been a huge hit

I agree but it would have had to be along the lines of the 2.7 or 3.5 so towing numbers at range stayed strong.

Ford already makes a regular hybrid F150. Shouldn't be that much of a leap to make it a plug-in hybrid, just need to find space for more batteries.

2.7TT would be a great option with a PHEV, I think.  The lack of power compared to the 3.5TT in the Powerboost can be made up with the extra torque from a larger electric motor.

Exactly. 2.7TT would be a perfect engine for a PHEV.
