Yes, they just gave it to me. I didn’t think much of it at first glance, but the quality of that bag is impressive!
I got to spend some nice Sunday afternoon drive time (even went to Cliche Corner)and I can’t believe how different it is from my S. I was a little worried when I ordered that I’d spent a pile of money to essentially have the same car, but it’s everything I loved about the old one and then ++++ on everything. It’s surprising how much different each of the settings feel between Normal, Sport and Sport +. I found myself goofily smiling at the sound of that exhaust, and the pull coming out of sharp corners is incredible!
A couple initial negatives
- so far I don’t love the PSCB brakes, was too soft and not confidence inspiring at all. I’ve read many posts though from people that say they improve dramatically during the first few thousand km’s, so hopefully that’s the case.
- there’s a faint metallic creaking coming from the cargo area, I’ll give it some time because maybe just some suspension bits settling in?
- no idea why they would have chosen the piano black haptic buttons around the shifter. Yes it looks nice and it doesn’t leave fingerprints as bad as I was expecting, but the glare off it when the sun hits right is blinding!
A couple things I’d have done differently with my build
- I thought I had to select an interior trim so I picked brushed aluminum (don’t like wood or carbon fiber) but didn’t realize the GTS interior package I’d picked comes with black brushed aluminum. I think that would have looked better
- I selected the Sport Design exterior package in matte black but I wish I’d paid extra for gloss black.
Both are minor though and won’t impact my enjoyment, more just a realization of how vast the choices are!
I’m so happy I picked the gentian blue, love it more and more as I’m spending time with it. It definitely pulls some purple in different lighting
