VW is asking for clarifications, but Euro7 standards may be the final nail in the manual's coffin. No word yet on how this will affect NA.

If there is no more manual GTI/R/GLI I'll just cross that entire brand off my list of future purchase options.

I suspect they'll keep them for North America but that they will die after this generation's run is over.

I'm here to complaint on the lack of manual transmission selections although I haven't purchased one since 2007.  ;D
