I was glad I had my woodstove during  Monday's  snow storm when the power went out.
No I don't have a generator but have the hookup for one.

I do hate wood smoke laying in a pall over the neighbourhood.

I was actually speaking metaphorically. "Throw another log on" sounds better than "light one of those 3 hour pressed logs. ;D When we do use our fireplace (maybe 5-6  times a year at Christmas, winter dinner parties etc) that's what's burned.

Yeah. Bloody cold yesterday. the today sun is out and ice is melty. I just had to go move the Olds in case the ice/snow on the roof falls so it don't damage the car.  :rofl2:

Don't like the weather? Wait 5 min. It'll change. hahahaaa...

Yes, dense fog this morning too, dense enough for the rear foglights.

Luckily it seems to be burning off, going up to a max of 22° today and tomorrow.

Hit +12C today and we are now on the way down to -7C (or worse) tonight.

Think I've driven though more rain storms in the last two days than I did all of last year.
