yup...its a car. Nothing more to be said about it.

Get a Corolla.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

When I bought a 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE about 5 years ago.  An equivalent Corolla with similar mileage and features was almost double the money.  I spent just over $2000 certified for the Sentra.  A Corolla was closer to $4k.  Nice thing about the Sentra, timing chain.  And I found it quieter and more comfortable than the Corolla.

Yup, a car, nothing more to say about it. I remember when I was looking for an Altima and all the Sentras they had in the showroom were either silver or tan, presidents choice no name car,.I agree, if you are looking for nothing more than an enclosed space to get you from work and back, the Corolla really does it better than everyone else.
Lighten up Francis.....

Yikes...unlike the Q60 used review, this one isn't so glowing.

The corolla has had  a timing chain since 1998 when the 8 th generation was introduced.Although you preferred the sentra over the corolla.

I had a 2000 corolla. It was reliable for me. As an appliance should be. Sentra would be similar.

This isn't a segment of the market that any car would be called glowing.....the best in anywhere north of meh.

I meant in terms of "reliability" concerns.

Yeah, the areas of possible concern are longer than i'd expect. I wonder if Nissan shorted the development or quality, for cost reasons.

Didn't know that about the Corolla.  Regarding the timing chain.  Money was the biggest difference in choosing the Sentra over the Corolla.  Corolla wasn't worth practically twice the amount.

My friend is leasing a 2015 Sentra for $250 tax in a month. Not bad. Gets her to and from work, and the occasional 4 hr road trip to Toronto.

What I don't like is the long term reliability of Nissan. They seem to be more troublesome versus Honda/Toyota.
