Was in the hospital to see him tonight.  He's supposed to get a feeding tube (can't recall the medical for it) into his stomach tomorrow.  Then a full PET scan to see how aggressive the Cancer is.........then surgery to remove it.  My buddy, being the super positive guy that he is, is hoping that the main surgery won't happen until well into October so he can still go to Greece with us.  It's an outside chance, but if anyone can pull it off, it's him.

Sarvis lost his home, outbuildings and farm equipment in a Sept. 11-12 prairie wildfire in southeastern Alberta and barely escaped with his life.

Just got home from my friend's memorial service.  33 years old, such a short life.  It was so hard talking to his father.  Amazing turnout though, I'd say over 200 people.

It's these moments that make me sad that the drive to risk her life in the mountains courses through the veins of my daughter.

Was cleaning the upper veranda off master bedroom, found out its not draining water well, not water proofed well , leaking into lower level veranda and eaves.  Fack....  More 💰 needed...

realized yesterday, that drain hole off to the side, is blocked off with sheet metal on the exterior of the house, there's NO OTHER drainage....  no wonder it's leaking into the eaves.....  WTF....  need to find someone to get rid of the tar crap and make the drainage working again, need to have new gutter and downpipe installed for this drain hole.

...who does this kind work?  talked to one roofer who thinks he can torch/melt the tar, re-surface it and put some flat roofing layers down, not sure if that good idea....

all the tar material from my upper balcony is off.   holy crap.  it's like 1 1/2 inch thick.

after all that crap was off, found rotted roof sheet . 


roofer's gonna replace that section, then put down exterior deck cover.

Things that can match an Envision...uhhh, seeing hows its a fancy Equinox, I would say a crapload of stuff would be more than competitive with it and some hands down beat it. Its a boring, nondescript CUV, there are thousands to choose from.
