I had a small piece of plywood under my seat that I'd put under the kickstand when the bike was parked at work for the day in the hot sun & asphalt.

That would be completely unacceptable behaviour in Oakville.   :rofl2:

What about some live edge black walnut?  :rofl2:

Lol!  Yeah, that'd do nicely.  OT but check out this block I picked up a few years back:

Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

I made a mold for a kickstand pad that clipped to a belt loop. Shot about 1000 of them and gave them all away.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Asphalt gets soft in the sun in Ontario too, I imagine. I had my kickstand go deep enough on an asphalt shoulder the bike flipped upside down into the ditch

Never had a bike go down but the old Suzuki GS1150ES would sink tit's stand in the hot asphalt and then if it got shady or later in the day the asphalt would reharden and trap the kickstand. After that little wood square.

Yamaha gave away these plastic kickstand pads during demo days. They worked ok. Sort of like:

That would most definitely suck.  :o

That's a pretty low and heavy dirt bike.  ;D

At EICMA, Honda just said they're working on the rebirth of the Honda Hornet. Which is sort-of what your bike is.

Will be interesting to see if this replaces your bike in the line up.

Fair warning - my garage is the polar opposite of Rob's posh motorcycle palace.  :-[

1) Rear seat cowl.
2) Dynamoto stand.
3) Trickle charger.
4) Hope for an early spring.

Seeing as you're already watching Itchy Boots, you need to make way for an ADV bike too. Just sayin'

 :rofl2:

Love this video: https://youtu.be/czmFS1giNe4?t=353

Those muddy roads had me worried! But the epic view was so worth it.

I dunno, I got some flack last year when my kid parked his new CBR650 in the living room over Christmas.
