The new seats that they put in on the GO Trains are way too close together for people, especially those with longer legs.

^^^^And then we wonder why people prefer to clog the roads in their single occupant cars...

Some of them are really spaced unevenly.  Having said that, it looks like the person on the left is sitting inconsiderately.  I make an effort to sit in the few seats where there is a wall with a ton of leg room to stretch out.  I just go to the next car if the seats are spaced weirdly with those newer green seats.

Had the MDX in for service today.  When I went to pick it up they had performed their regular checks and servicing for a "B12" service.  I thought the charges were a bit high (1.6hrs at $150/hr) for the checks/servicing items, not including the oil change.  We hadn't discussed them doing these checks, however I didn't tell them not to and the items are listed for a B12 service, so I was willing to pay and I did.  Being skeptical, I checked a few things over when I got home.  There is a few items of which I could tell were not done, including tire rotation/balancing and lubricate caliper pins.  I don't give a :censor: that the tires weren't rotated as I had just put the winters on, however I feel like I'm being robbed for items that weren't done.  I'll give the service manager a call in the morning.

The idea was that I'd have the dealer service the vehicle while under warranty, but I feel inclined just to do it myself.

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

^ I took a vid of the brake caliper with the wheel off.  You can clearly tell that the slider pins were not touched.  I'm looking forward to the conversation.

I bet 99.99% of the time none of that type of work is done.  "Inspections" are a scam.  Just a bill padding method.

Next time you bring it in, be VERY specific in what you want done.

Yup agreed. I didn't argue this case initially because there is some actual work items on the list that I was charged for.  Just turns out they didn't do those.  In my case I'm knowledgeable enough to be able to identify when work isn't done.  Imagine how many people are getting facked.  Ha ha, I'm one of them  :rofl2:

Helped a friend by changing over her wheels for winter, was adamant about coming back for a retorque. Offered to go to her. She drove to Toronto and back a week later, and last night noticed some minor shaking while driving a short distance. Didn't tell me about it. This morning the shaking got worse so she pulled over - her front passenger side wheel was still "on" but 4/5 lugnuts missing.

Could have been so much worse, but I know I did nothing wrong - the lugnuts were rusty as :censor: and i knew they'd loosen, which is why I mentioned the retorque 4 times.

... She's being really good about it and still wants me to help her in the spring, but I'm pissed at myself for not showing up at her house and retorquing when I had a chance. Not my responsibility, but this is a matter between friends, not legality.

^yeah, 4 falling off is VERY odd  :-\  I get that they can be a bit loose, but to lose 4 in 1 week is unheard of
