Speaking of which...tomorrow is apparently erotic car night!  I mean exotic car night, at the Pony.  Hahaa...  All the kids with their Audi's and Porsche's and Ferrari's should be there.

1978 Plymouth Volare Premier.  A step up from my Volare: has a/c, nicer seats.  I'm guessing it has the 318 V8, ad doesn't say.  $5,750 USD.

are these hipster cool yet? Ironically cool, like the Aztek or Yugo?
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

That one looks like it has factory cruise on the turn signal stalk.
I remember when dad bought his the passenger side mirror and rear window defroster were options.
He ponied up for those in the Volare Custom.

The good ol' days when you could add one option at-a-time.

I don't understand how passenger side mirrors were an option back then. Even some econoboxes from the 80s-90s didn't have passenger mirrors. How is that safe??  ??? ???

Probably not safe. Might have made you a better driver though. Check that blind spot.
Just the evolution of the automobile.
At one time cars didn't have seatbelts either.
I think cars have gone too far the other way now. Too much nanny crap.

2 of my vehicles don't have power windows or locks.

My 1982 Civic hatchback didn't have a passenger-side mirror.  No issues, though, as I always shoulder checked and visibility outward was great.

I've owned a few without the passenger mirror. While having one is better it was certainly workable especially in smaller cars with better visibility than we have these days (more glass, smaller pillars, etc).

My Mom bought a new Tercel in 1991 that didn't have a passenger mirror. She disliked not having one.....my Grandpa decided to fix it good n' cheap one day. He found some old mirror in his barn (likely from a tractor) and firmly affixed it where the factory mirror should have been. Looks ridiculous but did the job lol.

I wonder what that wooden thing in the picture of part of the rear subframe?    Mini rear sub frames are famous for rusting out and detaching from the body.
