In the end, it was a really solid effort from the forum members in the purchase of this car. 


Rrocket found it on Kijiji
Wheels went and looked at it for me and listened to it run
Solstice2006 is storing it for me.

While talking about these cars, my friend has turned down a solid offer of $26K for his all-original MR2 Turbo.

I'm guessing he's keeping it forever.  He even sold his beloved Cayman GT4 as the offer was right.

That other one I found for you (gold wheels) was super low mileage too, wasn't it?
