Have you considered an HID conversion?

Can't be done without changing the housings for millions of dollars.

Bulbs with adapters don't fit properly because of the rotating lights... Apparently.

Looked at it once then didn't care anymore.  I drive it at night once a year.

I have 7 vehicles in my driveway I could be driving this week lol

Yup, you really should get one that comes with HID standard!

The halogen bulbs swivel???  I didn't know that - I thought Lexus reserved that for the HID-equipped only.

I only asked because the conversion kit I installed in the Mazda was so easy and you did the piece on the Sylvania headlights, one of which died recently I thought.

maybe I will consider it, if I decide to keep the Mazda after the lease.

Yeah they swivel, only thing this didn't have was hid.  Lexus claimed because of the height they could not do it.  Probably bs, but there must have been some technical challenge because other models that year had HID and this was their top vehicle.

The halogens are pretty good though... And swivel.

I have three other cars here of it gets dark this week.

Random question but what material is your driveway? It looks like regular gravel?

Yup gravel.  Forget what they call it, but it's what they use for driveways here.

How long did the whole thing take?  Do you do the same treatment for the roof?

Yes I also did the roof.  Took me all day from like 10am to 8pm with some breaks between.

Probably 4-5 hours

Nevermind then.. I'll have to stick to wash & quick wax. It sucks that it's been raining so often here that I don't get to wash mine.

Nice job. My 3 could use a nice detail day although it should only take me a few hours.

I find newer halogen housings in the last say 7 to 15 years a lot better with the quality of light they throw onto the road. My old 08 Corolla and 2012 Mazda 3 all have great halogen lights. My old 07 Mazda 5 didn't have great lights, and I can barely see anything with my current Odyssey.

I wonder why the added complexity of swiveling?
On my Cayenne (with HIDs) a separate H4 bulb aimed diagonally turns on on whatever side you turn the steering wheel, or the opposite in reverse, I've had to replace them once.

That reminds me, I have a flasher bulb out on it.

HID conversion kit cost me $50 installed with a relay. The light output is fantastic and nobody complains about glare or aim.

Do it!

I can attest wing's ISF looked great, even in the rain!
