Into the 3rd year on CC2 on the Outlander. Both summer and winter were done and thinking I will replace the car in the next year or so I didn't want to buy 2 new sets so I went for the compromise. The tires are good no doubt for most conditions including wet and dry cold, BUT not in snow/ice/slush... After 2 full seasons plus a summer, I ended up buying winters last fall. What prompted the decision was a drive during one of the bigger snowstorms the winter before. The car was all over the place with TC kicking in frequently, which is something I've never experienced before with this car. In retrospect, with the mild winter we've had, the CC2 would've been fine.
If you run winters, I think there are better 3 season tires out there. Personally I like the Michelin for their longevity in addition to other quantities, but there are many good options to pick from.
I had similar experience before with 2 sets of Nokian WR - good for 2 full seasons and then no good in any season.
