The market is really strange these days
I posted on kijiji and got calls from several dealers, well known Toyota and Honda dealerships.
Went to one of them, they offered 30% more than the trade in at Genesis. Less than an hour later I was on my way home in an Uber, with a cheque in my pocket.

Used market is going to be tight for a long time. Three years ago is covid. Prior to that and especially after used cars/trucks were being bought up and shipped south. There is simply not much around.

Could see both Toyota and Honda dealers being hungry, but for opposite reasons

Crazy how they head hunted through Kijiji like that

^ Sales people sitting around doing nothing, might as well browse ads and see if there's any cherries out there.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.
