One of the local dealers shows 10 JLUs in stock, the cheapest of which is over $54k. Granted, they're all Saharas and Rubicons.

I'd have a really hard time picking between the Wrangler Rubicon and a 4Runner.  I don't need the off-road edge the Rubicon has, but love the looks of the Jeep and the removable roof and doors.

Thats its best party trick, its offroad capability and the removable top and doors make it like nothing else available on the market.

4Runners are $46-53K base msrp prices depending on trim.

A Sahara Unlimited would probably be enough for your needs is my guess. Get it with the 3:73 gears & a LSD and swap the factory tires for a set of Goodyear Duratracs in a slightly bigger size & you're set.

yep. just had one kid in with his mom... he drives a lifted 2 door and kept trying to make her go for a JKU Rubicon... showed her the JL and she just fell in love.. totally the right car for her.

she may never take off the roof, let alone the doors or put it in anything except full time.

Right on..  so you've got JLs in stock already?

just the one... took it out as soon as it came in. definitely a nicer vehicle... not better for all buyers, but most will really appreciate the changes.
