Really?  That's the first I have heard of a Sienna handling better.  However, I think feature packages and value is better with the Odyssey.  No heated seats in the Sienna SE for example.  You have to get a leather trimmed Sienna for that.  I found the pricing better on the Odyssey as well.

Yea...a couple of the magazines tested it an in SE TRIM ONLY the Toyota handles better.

But we're talking about minivans, so "handling" is relative.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

We have Odyssey EXL- RES version. Just picked up 2 wks ago.
Compared with Sienna and wife preferred Odyssey - because she feels that she can see better through rearview mirror. Sienna's back window is smaller then Odyssey's.
GC wasn't even in the picture as wife hated her experiences (We've rented it for a week and it was pretty bad. And 2nd row seat is definitely thinner and not as comfortable when compared to none-folding seats.)
So far, I have no complaints except horrible audio usb control - very difficult to scroll through the songs as they won't let you browse through folders. I was really disappointed with this.

Our 2012 Odyssey averages around 16-17mpg but it's mostly short trips through the neighbourhood etc.  Tested the Odyssey, GC and Sienna.  For us Odyssey was the best by far.  Interior was far superior to the other two as well as seat arrangement, storage space and the way it drove.  We bought the EX-Res for around 37k out the door.

Just returned from a trip to the US. 1,500+km of driving:
- 4 adults + 3 kids + cargo = fully loaded van
- driving 675km (one-way) with a few pit stops of which ~600km in a downpour
- if anyone took the I-81 from Syracuse to NY, you know the mountainous terrain is less than ideal for fuel economy.
- 100 km of city driving

8.4L/100km average (28MPG US). Not bad I shall say.
On the leg from Kanata to the US border (145km) the trip computer was showing 7.6L/100km

Evidence attached. At least it shows Honda is giving you realistic fuel economy numbers.

Nice!  Very good for a van that was hauling a full load.

The Sienna SE I test drove was not bad. It took corners ok for a boat with surprisingly little body roll, but I detected some under steer and there was no denying it was still a 4500lb boat.

The SE still had some merits above the LE, leather bolstered sport fabric seats, power liftgate, and it looks really good with 1/2" lower suspension, body kit, sporty lights, and 19" wheels. It probably drives better than the other minivans out there, but don't expect it to put a smile in your face the way a Mazda 5 would. At least it didn't for me.
