I watched it back when it came out.  What I would call a stereotypical 'Guy Ritchie' movie, if that means anything to you.

It's funny, because not all Guy Ritchie movies are 'Guy Ritchie' movies.  Fans of his will know what I mean.

Unlike, say, Wes Anderson, whose movies all have his signature style.

A bit unclear but it sounds like you're mixing up the TV show and the movie.

The Gentlemen is a 2019 movie directed by Guy Ritchie.

The Gentlement is also a 2024 Netflix series created by Guy Ritchie.

You're correct.  I was mistaking it.  I didn't realize there was also a series.

Just finished "The Gentleman" last night. It really grew on me as it went on.....great series!  It ended with things wrapped up enough that could be it while still leaving the possibility of a season two. (NO decision yet from what I can find from Googling)

Going to give Monsieur Spade a try tonight.

Jury is still out on Monsieur Spade. Kind of interesting but maybe a little too film noir/cryptic for me.

We're enjoying this one so much, we're deliberately trying not to binge.

Started on The Regime on HBO, with Kate Winslet, a little different, not sold yet

I didn't like it and quit but my wife persevered. She said it got better and she's hooked now.

We have watched 2 episodes. Not at all what I expected. I was expecting a serious depiction of a powerful dictator. But this show is about a leader that is really quite off her nut. The show is rather intense but funny. I did not expect funny at all.

I am liking it but not loving it yet. I will watch it in hope that it will be a great parody of leaders like Putin, Trump and all the other wanna be autocrats out there.

Maybe at one point she will paint her face orange.
If you want more in life you have to make an effort.

It really is good but sadly, we binged over a weekend.  I have no self control.

We watched a few episodes of Love on the Spectrum (Netflix).  There is no way that one comes away without a smile on their face.

We've been helped by the fact that my daughter is watching it with us and her schedule is pretty bonkers, so we've been kinda forced to be patient.

Almost done watching Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War. Really fascinating. Even tough I taught I knew a lot about this period, I'm discovering a lot of new facts and details. Fascinating are the interviews with key players of that period like Gorbatchev interpret, Condeliza Rice, CIA directors from various periods, etc.

Much easier to understand why Poutin invaded Ukraine; and what he's likely to do next.

Yeah I've been watching it as well. Just watched the one about the Berlin Wall coming down.

Started watching Fallout on Prime.  I played the games so I am really enjoying it, but my wife didn’t and she finds it entertaining.

Another great series and acting in a Netflix series called "Baby Reindeer".  It's based on a true story, I believe the male lead actor in the show it's based off his life.  Quite an enjoyable dose of crazy and WTF.  Highly recommend it.

That one looks intriguing, if perhaps more than a bit creepy.

Finished watching Ripley on Netflix a couple of nights ago.  I thought it was brilliant, although my wife barely lasted 20min of the first episode.  Too dark for her.  Appropriately filmed in black and white.

Really enjoying the third season of Clarkson Farms on Prime.  Probably the best season so far and I really appreciate all the details around farming and the challenges that they go through yearly.
