Chat feature

rrocket wanted it, we have it now.

Click on Chat on the top bar.  A window will open, click the maximum button on the little box and you'll get a pop-out and the forum will reload.   Now you can chat and post at the same time.

It's javascript of some sort.  I expect it only works with PCs.

Also it seems you need to change your name.  You can do so by typing /nick username

What trouble?  I'm using Chrome with no issue.  Click the maximize button on the little window.

This webpage is not available
Google Chrome's connection attempt to localhost was rejected. The website may be down, or your network may not be properly configured.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
Check your Internet connection. Restart any router, modem, or other network devices you may be using.
Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the wrench menu > Options > Under the Hood > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox.
Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): The server refused the connection.

Looks like you need to have a Mac, works for mac users :P  It's an AJAX module.  Chrome and Firefox should work well.

I turned off ActiveX filtering in IE9. No longer get the Ajax message but it still doesn't work of course.  I would think that the writers of this product would be unhappy if their stuff did not work with IE9  as MS is about to force promote it to all W7 machines.
