Yes to all of that.

Glad it worked out.

It was quite nice, and the best part was Gurgie's makeshift parking spot ;D

... And the company, of course!

Hey, once upon a time I had a company van & would just park anywhere & throw the orange cones out, so I was re-living my glory days! :D

And for-sure we'll do it again soon, Scaerio don't be a slacker & join us next time!

I thought that parking spot was rather choice.

Speaking of illegitimate parking, I found it really hard to not park in the "low emission vehicle" parking spot at IKEA.

:rofl2:

better yet, head to the auto wreckers and pick up a PZEV badge from a Forester...stick it to the back of your Golf wagon, then park there (just in case anyone questions you).   ;D

As seen for Montréal Ikea store http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_CA/locator/montreal.html
" We also offer preferred parking spaces near the front entrance of every IKEA store for customers driving hybrid or fuel efficient vehicles (cars that use less than 6.5L of gas per 100km)"

They also offer:
"Electric vehicle charging
There are two Level-2 EV charge points located at the side of the building close to the main entrance at this IKEA store, available at no cost to IKEA customers
"

Last time I went, they were busy
Gone but not forgotten in chronological order: 2019 Volt, 2013 Volt, 2014 Spark EV, 2012 Volt and many others before...

I would just like to point out, if I put 7 people in my minivan and head out on the highway, I get better fuel economy per person than these so called low emission or fuel efficient vehicles.  I should be able to park in these spots.

...but only if you actually show up at IKEA with seven people.

All highway.  50-50 two lane and four lane.  105-110 km/hr on the two lane with a few passes and 120 km/hr on the four lane with a couple of 130 runs.

Pleased with that.
