Whew.

Double edge sword for John.  It's a proud moment seeing your kids taking on difficult and risky endeavours with passion and determination, but as a participant, you know the risks and so that makes it hard.  Man, how does time get away from us?  I was thinking "Brittany is world champ?  Isn't she a teenager?  Uh, no, she's 31.  FML."

I believe she is being kept in hospital overnight for observation.  Her left side is a little sore, but I'm sure she'll be back at it in two weeks for the Arizona Nationals, which I'll be attending.
