Ideally 8 - 12'.  My chair will be 10' from the screen once I get it set up.  Have to move a big piece of furniture out of the way and downstairs first before I can mount the tv.   Lured a buddy of mine over tomorrow with a promise of dinner to help with that.   ;D  Tv itself only weighs 85lbs compared to my last 58" Panasonic plasma at ~120.  My wife and I should be able to monkey that into place.  :D

lucky!!

got myself a floor model rowing machine at my local costco, 200$ off sticker for not being in a box, and with costco rebate check, got it for 80$.
not as good score as you though KD!

Lucky this time at least.  Left the receipts for my old tv with the new owners and i paid almost $5200 for a 58" plasma in 2012.   :o  My 34" Toshiba before that was $3200.   :rofl2:

That's a good score for that rower! . It looked ok when I cruised past a few weeks ago.  I have a simple fitness rule. In the winter it is:   Every day it is either skiing, rower or weights. In summer: dirt biking, rower or weights.

The rower cured my back pain presto.

Bought my Samsung S21 FE new sealed box on amazon Canada for $490 a few weeks ago, and Costco now has it on clearance for ... $700. So I did really good!

Ended up taking a Fizz "plan", unlimited Canada+USA talk+text with 4 Gb for $27/mo. Data will stack up over two months, so it should stay at around 10 Gb if I don't use it much. Data good for US use too. You can change "plan" every month if you wish, and Fizz is the only carrier still offering travel packs (data only), so no need to get a tourist sim card when going to Europe.

Bought a nice, small sledge for my wood splitting station. My little fire pit thing is small and some logs don't fit.

Got it for $27, regular $70.

Last one in stock!

Fiskars stuff is really nice. I have a Fiskers pole lopper I've been using a lot lately, really nice quality unit.

Well since my back is about as strong as a wet noodle, I've moved away from axes. But I still use my Fiskars X11 for my kindling.  https://www.fiskars.com/en-us/gardening-and-yard-care/products/axes-mauls-and-machetes/x11-splitting-axe-17-378561-1004

But my splitting days with axes are over. I've been using an XL log splitter.(link below) I built a base that's puts everything about waist high. Works amazingly even with the small 3lb hand sledge. But hardwoods generally take a couple whacks or so. So this mid length (24") 8lb should make it a one swing affair.

I used to sit on a little stool chopping my stuff. Much easier standing. I had to build a base (with 4x4s) because no local firewood place would sell me a stump for less than $50!! Had a 4x4 laying around so used that. Looks rough but is super sturdy. Will post picture later.

Yes, these have been essential for me.  I'm on my third one now.  Got tons of use at the last place.  Got one of their pistol grip pruning saws as well and they work amazingly well also.  I only break out the chainsaw for bigger stuff.

Nice sledge Ron!

Nice! Seems high, but it's been a while since I've done some splitting

What is that green stuff all around it?  :D

I find when it's -10 or more out that you just tap the wood with an axe & it splits so easily... now that it's warming up, it's a bit more work. I split about 75% of the firewood we buy as it's just too big for the woodstove firebox. I thought we were gonna run outta firewood for this season, now I'm wonder where to store the :censor: all summer because I've probably got close to 2 face-cords left. Hopefully we get some more cooler weather so I can start burning it again  ;D

Bear in mind, the handle is only 24", so the unit comes to about waist high...which is perfect for me.

Sold my kitchen. Woot!  ;D  Posted it on FB Marketplace last Thursday just before 8am and had 39 responses by the time i checked back sometime after noon.  First two inquiries were low-ballers so they didn't get a response but the third guy was a winner.  Ideal buyer too as he is a contractor who is on the final stage of building a cottage and the cabinet dimensions are almost ideal for his setup.  He's taking cabinets, countertop, and sink, and maybe a couple of appliances, and he's going to help me with the removal.  Great guy too, and it turns out he is very good friends with one of my neighbors, who is a body builder and will also help us with the removal work.  What's even better is that he is not ready for it yet, and we'd like to keep it in place until just before our reno work starts, so the plan is to remove it the weekend prior to the start date for our reno work, which works better for both of us.   Win, win scenario!  ;D

Great when it all goes smoothly like that!  Sounds like you priced it fairly, a lot of people have unrealistic expectations when they sell complete kitchens and then just keep dropping the price
