Nice to know you are still among us.

I bought my first brand new 1976 Rabbit (ROW called it a Golf).  $4000 tax in.  Sold it almost to 2 years later with 44K km on the clock to a father supervising his son's purchase for $4400 (inflation).  I had disconnected the speedo for quite a bit of that time as well.   One valve was already burned out.

It was a great car.

I love how all the manufactures describe this diabolical engine killing feature as "technology"  as in "idle stop technology".

I'm just guessing here, but I think the 2024 GTI manual has it.

Patrick, what say you?

Nope, no ISG on any manual GTI or Golf R (ditto GLI).

Well looks like the trade off for a manual is more power.  Nice try VW, but I'm sticking to my "no manual = no care" stance.

The hot hatch's refresh includes a power bump to 262 hp, plus new colors and numerous improvements to the interior interface. Sadly, the manual is gone.

Not a bad mid-cycle refresh. Agreed it is too bad about the manual and I am not so sure about the large screen size. Having said that, I am sure they will still sell.

I wonder if Canada will get the option for  the matrix LED headlights?
