It still looks like an SUV to me.

I don't really see the wagon part.

Could be a raised wagon like an Outback. SUVs like the GLE and X5 are very tall now.

It still looks tall for a wagon to my eye.

Jaeger, how does the concierge service work once the 5 years complimentary is up?  Is it just the same as before, except you pay for it?  Do they break out the charges for picking up/dropping off or is it just blended into the rates?

I assume they just stop with the free pickup and delivery - not sure if you can go pay per use therafter, but I wouldn't bother.

Agreed, that's no wagon. Toyota needs to spend two minutes in the penalty box for misuse of the word Estate.

I'm definitely getting a wagon vibe - not as tall or as blocky as what I would expect in a 2-box SUV.  More long and flat like a wagon.  At least they didn't call it a coupe.  :rofl2: Regardless of the label, that front end needs rethinking.

Perfect combination of utility, luxury, reliability and non-ostentatiousness. I could see this in my fleet and may give my Toyota dealer a call. Call me impressed.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Replaces the Venza/Harrier, hybrid only, no Prime apparently. Does look good though.

I really like the looks, specially the side profile. Yet there are cost cutting measures compared to the current Venza. No one-piece monochromatic (?) roof, no HUD, only 2-way lumbar support. Maybe they are saving on semiconductor chips? The brown leather is gorgeous though.

Didn't read the article. What does it come with? A 3 cylinder backed by a blender motor and a CVT?  ;D

I love the wagon vibes, and I watched a few videos, one where they mentioned it's basically the upscale outback subaru doesn't make, which could be true if only it had way more sidewall. I really really like, though I find the "Crown" strategy strange when they have Lexus, and they discontinued the avalon yet now have this?

Short life for the "new" venza!

My mom seems to really like the crown, I should tell her to look at the signia.

Reviews said it's the same size as a highlander, so should be quite comfortable I imagine

When/where did Toyota call this a wagon?

I like the looks of this but it will probably be $60K in Canada before taxes.  Cars aren't cheap.
