The Caddies will both have "American level luxury finishes" but not compete with Germans and likely not quite as nice as Lexus either. But you get a lot more car for your money. Some view AWD as a positive and in winter I would agree, but during the nice months I think I'd prefer RWD.
Just for the record, even though us and everyone who reviews the CT4-V Blackwing view it as an M3 competitor, Cadillac says they are competing with the RS3 and AMG A class. Which it is a bit closer in price to those. RS3 is pretty muck exactly the same. The reality is the CT4-V Blackwing has similar performance as the M3 but at the price of M340.
