Insane! :skid:
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

loving this car, think I will import one in 2017 when they are legal. That sound of the 3.2 V6...whoah! The last of the Busso V6s...one of the best engines of all time.

and you can get a wagon!

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

im with ya there. So awesome and beautiful - but kinda awkwardly so in that most Alfa of ways...

Might buy it for the wife for her new work [dog trainer and groomer]. Nothing like ferrying about the puppies about in style and with an amazing engine note...lucky that she is a proper petrolhead like myself.

I love that too, great looks. But do you know how long I would have to wait to get one? Maybe as a replacement for the 156 GTA SW...

Been thinking about one of these since cruise weekend last weekend in Saskatoon.

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Can't say I am too familiar with the engine, I will take your guys word for it.  But as far as looks go on the wagon. I prefer the 2014 Mazda6 wagon.  The Alfa seems pretty conservative looking, other than the traditional alfa front end...

Sat in a W221 today  Sweet cabin, even if outdated by the W222. I could live with the outdated looks, but perhaps not with the maintenance & repair bills...

Beautiful details throughout. http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-911-reimagined-by-singer-monterey-2013/full/#photo-474802/

Oh the Porsche is ok...;)

it is a Czech Aero 39 or one of its derivatives (59, 159).

Chris is right.  The F40 is still one of the, if not the, most desirable cars ever built.  I agree that I'd take it over anything made since.

had 5 bedroom posters in my childhood in the early 90's: F40, XJ220, BTCC Alfa 155 (Tarquini), BTCC Volvo 850R (Rydell), and Bugatti EB110. Own the 155, hunting for the Volvo in good shape, and will never be able to afford the rest.

That said, would get the XJ just because it is so gorgeous...

highly discourage that.

classic case of 'never meet your childhood heroes'..

XJ is just appalling car in all ways.

but if you are still inclined, apparently they go for around 100k on auction blocks.

it certainly is, lots of fun. Cant stop driving it, so addictive that engine note is. Cant wait for an Autos.ca staffer to take a look at it some day.

I know it is a big let-down from what they promised, and was a terrible flop, and has terrible brakes, and immense turbo lag. But it is gorgeous. Maybe I will stick with the poster and the Forza 5 experience [car drives epic in that game, but yes very laggy in power delivery].
