2012 Ford Focus SEL Hatchback 5speed manual loaded
« on: January 04, 2018, 11:26:40 pm »
Hi everyone! So far I haven't had luck selling my car so I thought I'd post it here, thanks for looking!

Car located in Oakville, ON.

Selling my '12 Focus hatchback with manual transmission  I've had the pleasure of owning for about a year.

Car has 234k and change kilometers. Mileage is over 90% highway.

I am the second owner, first owner supposedly bought it new and had it serviced in a Ford dealership in Oshawa all the way up to 200,000km, that is one of the reasons why the car is still in such a great shape. Almost all highway mileage.

The car looks, feels and most importantly drives like it has half the kilometers that it does.

Loaded with options:

Automatic climate control
Sunroof
Leather
Front heated seats
Cruise control
Voice commands
8 inch touch screen
Premium Sony Audio Ford only puts in their top level cars (sounds better than you'd expect)
Bluetooth
A/C

Car is great on gas. It averages me less than 8 liters of regular gas per 100km with combined use, mostly highway.

I've treated this car as well as it can be treated, never abused in any way, timely oil changes with exclusively using Pennzoil Platinum and Ultra Platinum synthetic oil paired with an original Ford oil filter. Engine works perfect and all the power is still there.

I have personally replaced:

Spark plugs (when bought 1 year ago)
Engine and Cabin filters (about 3 months ago)
Left driver control arm & wheel bearing (few weeks ago)
All breaks (front & rear pads and rotors, few weeks ago)

Car has no issues and needs to be seen / driven to be appreciated.
Never smoked in. Comes with winter tires on steel rims and worn out all season tires on the original 16 inch alloy rims from ford with tire pressure sensors. Due to the lack of tire pressure sensors on the steel winter rims, car will sometimes display a low tire pressure light.

Body is in good shape, few scratches here and there, nothing serious at all.

Please PM or reply here with any questions.

Looking for $6300

Price is negotiable and no reasonable offer will be refused.
Thank you.

Man what an excellent price for a loaded Focus. Damn Ontarians keep tempting me with reasonable prices on used vehicles.

And it's a manual  :D which is the only tranny I'd want in a Focus as their DCTs are wonky.
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

Price seems fair, what’s prolly keeping people away is the mileage...imo.

The mileage and the manual factor.  Took me 3 weeks to sell my Mazda6.  Dealer didn't even want it.

The price has been lowered further to $5000!

When I first bought the car with just over 200k on it, on the carproof report I saw that it was serviced at the same ford dealership 16 times since It was bought new, all the way up to 203,000k. I called the dealer and had them tell me what was done on it, Clutch was recently replaced too which is a good thing.
