I hold doors for ladies too...most times...nothing wrong with being nice.

Nobody. Was watching that new singing show, and Puffy was putting someone down because he only can tell the troof. Tipped me over...if you can't even speak properly, YTF are you even allowed to be a judge? And then allowed to criticize someone's singing? Can't even begin to give a man like that any respect...just can't. He's not English...if he says "bruvah" (brother) I might throw a Wii remote at the TV.

My stomach. On Wednesday and Thursday I woke up nauseous and felt awful all day - stayed home from work. What’s especially irritating about this morning sickness is that it’s been over a year since anyone tried to knock me up!

Amateur - during a weekend getaway visit from Belgrade in spring 2012, I cleared-out a whole metro car in Vienna. Something I ate earlier in the day really, really didn't agree with me... Spent the rest of my weekend sick as a dog in my hotel room.

I find an increasing problem are drivers who drift to the opposite side of their lane before turning. ie, in a left turn lane, will drift to the right, sometimes crossing the lane marker encroaching into the through lane. When I notice the driver drifting towards my lane, I'm always a little apprehensive, the idiot driver may suddenly pull out into the side of my car.

Maybe I'm just becoming a more nervous driver, but I don't trust other drivers.

I don't remember this being as much of an issue over the years. Maybe it is a side effect of modern vehicles being larger, with very high beltlines, poor visibility and inattentive drivers wrapped up in their own cocoon.

Still plogging thru this half-a*ssed jetlag a week after I got back from Asia.

Normally I manage different time zones reasonably well to/from Europe. Asia is 13h ahead of Eastern Standard Time but I managed the sleep hours on the plane and plane schedule so I thought I had it down last week when I first arrived.

Now I hit the wall at 20:00 but push until 22:30, but wake up at 01-02:00 just to fall back asleep a little later, and then occasionally pop back up at 04:30. As you can imagine, this disrupts the sleep cycle multiple times so I end up mildly tired most of the day and not getting true rest. Argh !

Not sure where this belongs...

Quite a run this afternoon. This guy had a little "purse-dog" of some sort, and let it off the leash just as I run by him. WTF? The dog chases me for a bit, snapping at my heels. Then out of the bushes jumps a coyote that promptly snatches up the little dog, and then disappears back into the bushes.

It all happened so fast, I just kept going, wondering "wow, did that really just happen?"

Taking your little dog off the leash on wilderness-kinda trails might not be the brightest thing to do.
