Not a great picture from my BB...but here is my dad's.  The PDK transmission is mind-blowing.  It's no wonder the manual transmission's days are numbered!  The way it blips the throttle on down-shifts and barks would never get old.
Nice car Dad has. Must be nice to be able to park anywhere, like over a sidewalk and thumb yer nose at a fine. ;)

Oh "T", always so quick to quip.  ;)

to the right.  We both got our new cars that day so I left mine on the driveway and dad parked behind.  We were there long enough to snap a pic before going for a ride.   :drv2:
Keeps me young... ;)

Yeah, but its a Porsche, you expect to be treated like an Altar boy when you add option to it. Its part of the Porsche experience.
Lighten up Francis.....

This is, without a doubt, the ugliest contrivance of today's automobiledom. They are quite a few of them around here, driven mostly by Chinese housewives. I am sure they are very concerned about the g-force thingy and they 1/4 mile times.
I'd never join a group that would have me as a member.

Congrats Tom, a very good piece of automotive journalism.
Heck, I even had to google You Tube to listen to the baad exhaust note ;) IMO a very cool, eccentric ride that is unfortunatly way out of my snack bracket.

Can't get over the looks and the weight, but on the latter issue there really is no solution. All of these vehicles (S7, CLS, 6 Gran Coupe, Quattroporte...) are similarly overweight, so if I was buying in this category I'd probably wait for the new Quattroporte.

I know this isn't how potential buyers of this car think, but if I had to spend the $150k, I'd get a used 911 C4S and a Cayenne Diesel.

Thanks Ace! That's very kind of you to say.

I found most online video of the GTS doesn't nearly do that exhaust justice, unfortunately. And believe you me, I hate that front license plate as much as you do - since I live in Edmonton, we don't even need them here, but virtually all review vehicles are registered in Ontario and come front-plated.

It's a first world problem.   ;D
