-heated seats takes forever to heat up.  and level 1 heat is almost like it's not even on.  highest level, 3, is like level 2 in the Rabbit.  my Rabbit had such GREAT heated seats.  heated up within 1 or two minutes, very warm even at level 1, and  it went up to level 5!!!

I find that cloth seats warm up much more quickly.

The leather ones in my JGC take forever, but the pleather ones in the GF's 323i are instant hot.

The leather in the Chevy heats up fast, the RX is slower to heat up

Strange, the seats in the GS350 start getting warm by the time we get to the end of our driveway. The seats in our Fusion took a lot longer.  The cabin heat comes on quickly as well.

hey, wtf is up with that pole...looks like it is wrapped in foam so as not to damage a door...i get it's a support pole, but come on, that is the dumbest location for it...surely a beefier beam or something could have been used instead so a pole wasn't needed?

HUD is pretty cool :).   my polarized sunglasses make it disappear.   :'(

In the RX , I don't have this problem
Had my Maui Jim's on yesterday and I could see the HUD

I think this depends on the glasses.

My outdoor pair of smith makes it completely disappeare, but my driving pair of something i picked up at costco, i can still sort of see the HUD.

Polarized Raybans make the HUD in the X5 disappear.

i have a pair of Columbian polarized sunglasses (bought at Costco several years ago)...my display (not HUD, but LCD radio/nav screen) doesn't disappear in normal driving...the only time it disappears is if i tilt my head (for example, lay your ear on your shoulder)...i don't know if different polarized glasses are made differently or not (it's the only pair i had that are), but if i keep my head normal (vertical), the screens are all fine and maybe only fade slightly (possibly lose 10% brightness max)...if i tilt my head (ear to shoulder), it will almost disappear.

does it not work the same for you guys?
