7%, so accurate.  :rofl2: Honda motorcycle speedometers read a full 10% off. When my speedometer says 146, I'm actually only doing about 133. My old Yamaha scooters were only 3-5% off which is more acceptable.

I get that manufacturers don't want to get sued for a speeding ticket they got because a speedometer read slow but 7 to 10% optimistic is way off. At least my odometer is accurate.

I said I wouldn't go back to a 50-series tire, but then I spotted this ad.  Four Sonata rims for $120.
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-tires-rims/winnipeg/4-hyundai-rims/1335951496

I could go 215/55R17 and not lose much sidewall, about .5 inch, I think.

My fave of all Sonata rims and they really improve the look.

Amazing the difference a small part can make in the appearance of something. When I bought the Sonata, the Shift Lock Release cover was missing. The replacement part arrived, and was installed, today.

It's one of those pieces that really makes a difference for sure. It's strange. My Mom's van came with it missing and it bothers me for sure.

Yep, that makes a huge difference and it'd bother me all the time.
I can see those things go missing very easily.  I popped mine out when I had a battery issue and needed to shift the transmission to neutral without any power.   I made sure I put it in the change pocket right away, though.

On a recent road trip to Grand Forks, ND, I set a personal high top-speed in the Sonata: 103 mph or 165 km/h.

I wonder how these wheels would look on the Sonata.  $200 for the set.

Or these?  $295

Or maybe these?  $225

Out of the three sets, I would choose #2. But if it was an option, I'd keep looking.

I like #2 best of that lot - I think they'd look good on your car.

I think 2 or 3 would work great. Between the two I'd get the set in the best condition.
