Finally finding a place to live. Bonus is how easy it will be for me to get out of the city (Cambridge) to do some road work on the bike. Now need to find a good hill or two close by for my hill repeats.
Guelph Line in and out of  the aptly named Lowville ?  Although that is some km east of Cambridge.

Funny you mention that, did that a few times this summer.  Pretty close to my house.  Those houses in Lowville are beautiful.

i know, i know.
I think some of our neighbours are starting to wonder about us.  LOL

I got a deal I just couldn't pass up.  This wasn't planned and really, really needs to be my last purchase for a while.    Hey, if I did win the lotto (if and when I do) you guys will be the first to help me pick out a sports car!

Music store has a "Black Friday" sale and the guitar the kid wants is $1000 off today and tomorrow.  Now I am sucked into the consumerism vortex.  (the last part isn't making me happy, but saving a bunch of dough does)

We will be in West Galt just off Cedar Creek Rd, should take less than 10 minutes to be out of the city on my bike.

Excellent....house or apartment?

House with a garage! VERY happy about that. Funny thing is some of the nice but small apts would have cost us the same amount of money.

A Gibson.

Wow! Which store? I'm not interested in a Gibson, I'm a very average bass man meself.

Long & McQuade.  We have one not far from our home, and they've given us fantastic service as we've built the kid's home recording studio and bought all her other instruments.  The only thing we didn't buy there was her electronic piano as they didn't have the specific one she wanted - then we actually found it at Costco AND they
had a $200 off promo on.

She has a 3/4 acoustic and a full sized acoustic/electric and now wants a Les Paul style Gibson electric.  It's $2749 regular but is on sale for $1899, but when I called about it, the guy told me that as good customers he'd go to $1749 and give us a $150 store credit towards a case and strap as well.

She has high quality ski/climbing gear and musical equipment.  But, our house has no video games etc, etc, and I always said I'd spend on positive stuff like musical equipment and athletic gear.

Final clean out of gutters-check
Final rake of leaves-check
Snow tires on both vehicles-check
Christmas shopping finished-check
Outdoor Christmas lights finished-check
Still talking to Mrs Slow Lane after finishing installing lights- Bonus.

Heck if I was any happier, the government would either tax it, or make it illegal. ;D

:fall:  We are not worthy. I pride myself in planning ahead so I can relax in December but you are the dude.

Hoping the acoustics will be good but you never know until you set things up. I'm planning on setting up a small two channel system on the main level and putting the tv system in the basement. I'm getting my Dad's older Rotel/PSB system (5.2) that I will integrate with my equipment. Should be fun playing around and getting everything setup.

Yes but  he has the advantage of being "in the slow lane". I hope to be there this time next year. ;D
