That sucks. It's not like the old days when wiring could be bodged and still work fine. With computers monitoring almost everything and with data flowing between multiple processors, it's really easy to screw things up.  A lot of people haven't caught on to this yet.
Most companies now offer ECU plug and plug modules for lighting.

Hard to imagine anyone not using one of those.

Absolutely. Plug and play, but there is a cost. People try to cheap out and splice in. Bad idea.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

some vehicles are a bit more annoying... especially if there is something different, like led taillights... they aren't as easy as the old style to plug in to. we've had a few hackjobs on journey's come in that are just a mess because they used the parts from a non-led model due to price...

Did an out of Prov inspection on this. 2016 M-B AMG GTS. Sweet ride, but I have to say, the road noise was very disappointing. I swear it was as loud as my MX-5.

Tires?  Those massive performance tires can get REALLY loud once worn a bit.

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

It only had 2900km. Tires were like new. More so being a summer performance tire and being -8c.

How long to pull that?

4-6 hours?

Surprised (a bit) that it needs to be pulled to replace a turbo.

Judging by the location of that turbo, it's underneath the windshield, next to the firewall... No hood access there!

Wasn't my job, so I'm not sure how long it took him. Doing it that way is not the way service info says to it, but sometimes it is just easier to pull then to follow service info.
