Man after Valentino coming 2nd (He really deserved that one) I really wanted him to take first since.

I hope he wins it... but it doesn't look like it with changes now.

Rained out in a desert. Go figure.......

Dovi Dovi Dovi Dovi this year. I also want Zarco to do well, and he should, although I wouldn't expect him to be a championship contender.

Ok, back in MotoGP mode. Vidéopass subscription renewed and i am following things now.

Zarco....solid results for a rookie in GP, honestly I'm impressed but not surprised. Hoping Dovi has better luck than the Argentine GP.

I'm not impressed. He hit the deck in Quatar. In the lead...by himself.

I'll reserve judgement until a few more races.

Another strong run by Zarco today. Was also impressed with Dovi climbing up from 14. starting position.

Good job to Dani though, clean and consistent throughout the week-end.

Fantastic race. And the pace was incredible...setting lap records late into the race.

That's really sad news.  I was fan from when he was racing superbikes in the AMA.  Seemed like a really nice and down-to-earth guy whenever they interviewed him. RIP.

I'm so sad....

I just really liked him...as a person and a racer. I've chatted with him a few times over the years. He was just a nice guy...polite, warm and no ego. Riders were easily approached in AMA. You'd see them by their trailers or wandering in the paddock. And you could chat them up, ask for an autograph.

Once he moved to MotoGP, we caught him at Indy (he was a superstar now). But it didn't change him. He was still the same nice guy with his little drawl. We spotted a beautiful Tissot. He was wearing (one of his sponsors). He told us to come to the rider/fan Q&A (it's something awesome and funny they do in MotoGP. The fans get to ask questions instead of journos.) He said he'd be giving away his watch in the Q&A. He nodded when he saw us there. We didn't get the watch, but it was just nice of him to let us know and acknowledge us when we showed up. Just a nice guy with great talent. I was always an unabashed fan.

He should have 2 world titles, but was taken out by his teammate (Pedrosa) and lost the title. Ultimately, he lost his seat with Repsol and Pedrosa keep his seat to this day despite never having won a title. It's why is dislike Pedrosa so much even now.

I was looking forward to be able to hit the flat track Grand National races to see Nicky win the Triple Crown once he retired from WSBK.

Sad...really sad. I feel for his family and especially his girlfriend who he just got engaged to.

Am going to watch The Doctor, The Tornado and the Kentucky Kid tonight.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0861769/
