Topic: 2024 BMW Z4 M40i with six-speed manual

I didn't realize this was happening. BMW is adding a manual option to the Z4 M40i for 2024, part of a more comprehensive sport package that is manual-only. This is the first non-M (real M that is) manual BMW sold in the U.S. and Canada since the 2020 2-series.

In addition to the manual the package gets staggered (width and diameter) wheels and revised steering and suspension.

Definitely cool, but I'd rather they put all this in a M240i or M340i.

100% agree with both of you.  But I do appreciate the extra choice for a manual convertible.
