Interior is very nice.

Agreed. Wouldn't look out of place in a luxury car.

This looks great in my future - I am planning to retire in about 5 years and get a Toyota hybrid to save on fuel and maintenance

When/where did Toyota call this a wagon?

I like the looks of this but it will probably be $60K in Canada before taxes.  Cars aren't cheap.

Likely everywhere but North America.

Read the entire article and didn't see where TOYOTA called this a WAGON.

In their home and likely other markets:

https://www.gqjapan.jp/article/20231010-toyota-crown-estate

At the LA unveiling they didn't mention the words "wagon" or "estate" at all.

What causes that negative perception of a wagon in American minds?
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

'Mid size SUV' on the Toyota Canada website. Dunno, pretty wagony to me, at least as much as the first gen. Unless a wagon has to have an upright rear hatch?

What's the guess on pricing?  Toyota Crown Limited starts at $55,460.  From what I read the limited trim is the only one available on the Signia, but not sure how features compare.  Either way, a $59,995 starting point?
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Neither one of those things looks like a wagon to me. Much too tall.
