I agree with the 'interior' comment.  I drove a yellow 2.5L Beetle as a loaner and the interior was cheap ass compared to previous gen Beetle.  Even a Gen 4 Golf has way better interior than this thing.  It seems the only decent small car in the VW lineup is the Golf which is manufactured in Germany and has the best interior.  It's funny how the Golf is now more expensive than the Jetta - you do get what you pay for.  My next car...Golf TDI fully optioned or maybe a GTI...maybe.

While this one looks a little more masculine and isnt offensive, IMO, I still wouldnt buy a Beetle that doesnt have an aircooled engine in the back.
