QuoteAnd the fully loaded V8 version of my car can be had for under $30k used. It is ridiculously nice for that kind of money. I'd love for you just to drive one and share your thoughts. Not as visceral as it's predecessor R Spec, but more than a level or two up in polish and refinement.Agreed. It is time that I try a Genesis so that I can actually form an informed view. QuoteAP. What are you trying to get out of this ultimately? That is the key question. More than anything, I think I just want to try own something different for a while. Over the last 10 years I have had in my garage a Mustang GT, 342 stroker Mustang LX, Chrysler 300 Hemi, Toyota Corolla, Cadillac DTS and three different F150s. I seem to buy - sell regularly, I guess. But I always have an exit strategy so that the hobby does not cost very much. That is key to me.QuoteI'd be looking at a 2015 + Challenger 392 8 speed auto. It's a big car/ 2 door Charger. Luxo inside. Forget the fancy Toyotas. Agree with others that it is not exactly luxury but I also think it remains a plausible pick for me. Not a corner carver but it would combine quiet highway travel with some bruiser credentials. Plus, even years after it was released, I still think it looks amazing. To my eye, it is one of the most distinctive designs on the market. But the 392s are hard to find at a value price (even used). And these beasts are not cheap. MSRP is around $60k. QuoteAP is a tall guy from what i remember reading? So an ISF might be tight... GS would be nice tho!6'2". But that has not been much of an impediment for me with cars other than maybe the Miata which I find to be too small (and - gasp - am not attracted to anyways).

Wonder what the original list on that Jag was?
The Jag is either a heck of a deal...or the worst decision ever. It even comes with separate winter / summer rims / tires - a rarity for dealer purchased used cars. A lot of content for the money. Now about that Winnipeg location...

An extra 1000-1500 lbs can't hurt slow it, right?
