Infiniti reached one million Facebook fans today and as a thank you to its loyal fan-base, released a first glimpse of the Infiniti Q50

really trying to get it to look like an eye eh? reminds me of a logo of a hockey team... just needs a bull nose and ring through it.

so.... a q50.... is it really new or just using the new q branding for something already existing?

I thought the Q50 was supposed to be the new flagship. I'd assumed they were going to one-up their own M Series.

Oh well...I associate 'Q' with the old top-end Infiniti sedans.

look at the confusion we are already getting with this q garbage! and we're supposed to know cars... the 'normies' have no chance!

luckily, they are nice cars.

Go to their you tube page (linked form the video in the article).  Half the comments are about 'YAY! The return of the Q sedan'.  The other half are correcting these people on the new naming convention.  Hardly any are about the actual car.

This whole "giving the entire line the same name" thing is crazy. I can only hope the entire marketing dept/senior management team was drunk when this was proposed and approved. Otherwise the only explanation is that they're all stupid and incompetent!  ;D

FWIW  when I read "Q50" for some reason I thought it was the V8 version of the FX ::)

I'm really anxious to see this when it's revealed in a couple of weeks.  Lately, I've been wanting to get into another G (errr, I mean Q) so this certainly has my interest peaked.

Toyota can make a Camrys' headlights look sexy in the same type of commercial.
I'm not convinced there's anything coming Q50 wise that will knock my socks off judging by the spy photos. Maybe with the Q60 however.
